Ratio 1x13 Upgrade Kit
Ratio is a British company that produces parts to modify drivetrain components, which expands range or provides extra shifting capabilities. The 1x13 Upgrade Kit enables the use of SRAM shifters with a 13-speed Campagnolo Ekar cassette. The kit makes access to the Ekar shifting range more affordable but, while it is less expensive than an Ekar groupset, it's still not what you would consider cheap.
Lizard Skins 3DGRP grips review
Lizard Skins is a pioneer in the drop-bar handlebar tape industry with the DSP bar tape providing a completely new feel compared to rivals. It is also the first company to apply 3D printing technology to handlebar grips but do the potential advantages outweigh the hefty cost?
Gore C3 Thermo Jersey review
The Gore C3 Thermo is a fleece-lined jersey designed for cooler conditions. The amount of insulation on offer makes it suitable for a wide temperature range but the lack of windproofing can make it feel cold on windy days.
Pirelli Scorpion XC S tyre review
Pirelli promotes the historical connection between motocross and supercross, which has filtered down to its very best mountain bike tyres. Within the XC line of Pirelli tyres, the Scorpion XC S has probably the most in common with that connection, featuring an open tread pattern, designed for softer terrain.
Tubolight Diamana SL tyre inserts review
The Tubolight Diamana tyre insert has a unique shape that is different from other inserts on the market. The SL version is the lightest in the range (it's competitive in weight with other options) although that is not the primary goal. Tubolight uses terms such as airflow, venturi and ground effect, and dimples to describe its Diamana tyre inserts. We tested them to find out if the benefits could be noticed.
Tioga Undercover Stratum Max saddle review
Tioga has introduced the Undercover Stratum Max saddle, which combines a SpyderWeb base with deep and soft padding on top. This combination might make it a comfortable saddle for some riders but there is some movement between the guides on the saddle rails (which might leave some fit issues) and the titanium rails put it at a premium price. Read on to see how it compares to other options in the competitive best gravel bike saddle space.
Spatzwear 'TUFR' Off-Road Overshoes review
Spatzwear has updated its toughest overshoe and aptly named it the TUFR. Featuring a solid toe box area and lots of design changes over the previous off-road version, it isn’t without its faults. That said, it still raises the bar as far as the best overshoes for cycling are concerned, utilising an off-road-specific design that can double up for both mountain bike and gravel use.
Canyon Lux Trail CFR review
Canyon has updated the Lux platform and the Trail CFR pictured here utilises a revised frameset with 115mm of rear travel and design elements that make it suitable for all-day marathon rides or racing. The Lux has been a lot of fun to ride and is quite capable but it has left me more conflicted than any other bike I've recently tested with constant questions about components and prospective changes.
Schwalbe Rocket Ron 2.35 Super Race Addix Speed tyre review
The Schwalbe Rocket Ron is a favourite tyre at cross-country mountain biking races and for good reason. It combines grip and speed, making it suitable for a wide range of traditional British races spanning softer and muddy tracks to firmer and faster tracks.
Sonder Sedona GRX1 gravel bike review
The Sonder Sedona aims to be a fast, high-performance frameset with more aggressive geometry than the widely popular Camino frameset. Sonder has grown in popularity because of its excellent value for money and forward-thinking design. The Camino frameset was a great example of having stand-out geometry when it was initially released, at a period when other brands were little more than road bikes with extra tyre clearance.
