Norco's Search gets refreshed geo, big tyre clearance and downtube storage

Three years after its release, Norco's gravel bike, the Search, has made a comeback. For 2025, the brand has graced the bike with an updated modern geometry, downtube storage, and clearance for big tyres. The suspension-ready bike is also available in carbon and alloy builds. Let's dive in.

Although gravel can mean many things to many people, the Search is built for adventure. Norco says that it's a bike that can be picked up and ridden almost any way that you would like. The key points that the brand highlights with the new Search are its geometry and storage options.
The alloy option dons a 69.5-degree head tube angle, then the effective seat tubes range from 74.5-degrees to 73.5 across the size selection. Chainstays stretch from 425mm up to 420mm and reaches start at 385mm and go up to 445mm. That remains the same on the carbon frame, but those builds get a taller standover at 458mm on a '3' size, whereas the alloy dons a 748mm standover. Norco has also chosen a 70mm stem for each size to keep the Search's steering character similar across the range.
That geometry is designed to achieve a lively, fast, and confident ride on any terrain. However, the brand has built the new bike with a longer fork that ensures a corrected geometry when equipped with a suspension fork.
All Search models roll on 700c wheels and offer space for up to a 50mm width tyre (despite coming with 45s as standard), and all sizes can fit three 750ml water bottles. The carbon frames then bring new downtube storage into the mix, whereas the alloy bike has all of the mounts thrown at it, so storage and space for luggage shouldn't be compromised.
Integration is a bit of a story from the brand, as there are integrated fender mounts and fully guided internal cable routing with a threaded BSA bottom bracket. Enabling the bike to run the most modern of shifting setups is a UDH dropout.
