Norco Launch New Gravel Bikes
New bikes complete with SASSY rear ends
Gravel bikes seem to be around every corner these days and Norco are the latest brand to launch their 2018 adventure bike lineup, the Search range.
The Search line is Norco's gravel bike range which last year this consisted of just three bikes. These bikes combined a carbon fibre frame, ‘endurance’ geometry, 700c wheels and disc brakes. This year the frame has been reworked and the range is offered in both carbon and steel in a variety of build options, including a top spec model complete with a 65mm dripper post.
What's new?
- Carbon and steel (with carbon fork) framesets
- Clearance for 700c wheels and 650B (and interestingly the use of 26 inch wheels)
- Compatibility for racks and mudguards, front and rear
- Rubber housing at seat clamp to prevent water ingress
- Removal of seat stay bridge to deliver a smoother ride
- SASSY rear end - 'Secret Attachable Seat Stay Yoke', a removable plastic seat stay bridge used to attach mudguards
- NINJA- 'Not Instantly Noticeable Junk Attachments', threaded inserts allowing full fender capability, inconspicuous when unused.
